audit of iTunes library

method

During each of interview, a quick audit will be carried out. This audit is of the participant's music library managed by the iTunes music application residing in the participant's computer. Apart from the time taken up for syncing, the export takes only a few seconds to perform.

  1. The participant will sync the iPod with iTunes. This will consolidate their listening data providing a detailed account of the tracks listened to, including time stamps, various metadata associated with the track, and much more.
  2. The (meta) data can be easily exported from iTunes as a text file and saved onto a thumb drive for further analysis
